Custom Designs
Custom pieces are made to order. Design sketches, CAD files, and gemstone selections must be approved before production begins.

• Complex bespoke designs: 21–91 days

Eligible Returns

Deposits
Custom orders require a deposit starting at 50% or more depending on gemstone selection and design complexity.

Revisions
Minor revisions are included. Major redesigns may incur additional fees.

Excessive Revision Policy
To maintain fairness and production efficiency, Samui Lapidary allows:

• Up to 2 rounds of minor revisions

• 1 major revision (if applicable)

Additional revisions beyond these limits may be billed at a design fee determined by complexity.

Termination of Custom Project
Samui Lapidary reserves the right to terminate a custom design project under the following conditions:

• The client requests excessive or repeated revisions beyond reasonable scope

• The client changes the design direction multiple times, making the project unworkable

• The client becomes unresponsive for more than 14 days

• The client refuses to approve designs, CADs, or gemstone selections after multiple attempts

• The client behaves in a manner that is abusive, disrespectful, or obstructive to the design process

If termination occurs:

• All design work completed up to that point remains the intellectual property of Samui Lapidary

• Deposits and design fees are non‑refundable

• Any gemstones sourced specifically for the project will be returned to inventory or may be purchased by the client at full price

Final Approval
Production begins only after the client approves the final CAD rendering and gemstone selection. Once approved, no further changes can be made.
